Welcome!! We are the Southeast Houston Area Democrats (SHAD). We hope you can use this
site to learn more about our club, our community, and our Democratic Party.
The Southeast Houston Area Democrats are a branch of the Harris County Democratice Party that specifically serves Harris
County. Our members range in age from 16 - 70, and we are open to Democrats of all backgrounds
We actively seek out and campaign for Democratic candidates, participate in local, state and federal elections, work
with other progressive organizations that share our agenda, register new voters and inform the public on issues in the community.
We aim to be a positive force in the county, and we believe in giving back to our communities, consistent with our Democratic
principles and values.
